KR-3
Friday, June 24th & Saturday, June 25th
Back Home Festival favorites, KR-3, will be performing an exciting late night show at the Lincoln Theater on Saturday, June 25th as part of our festival.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of The Grateful Dead's famed Europe '72 tour and album, KR-3 will be recreating cuts from Europe '72 for a show dubbed "New Martinsville '22."
Known for their mind-bending, live silent discos, KR-3's sound is a soul grabbing, mind expanding, psychedelic, funk, and blues inspired jam, mixed with prevailing three part vocal harmonies. Their signature sound is reminiscent of the San Franscisco scene in the mid to late 60's, and the band has gained a following of faithful fans across the region. KR-3 has a supernatural ability to improvise together as one brain. With the powerful and moving lyrics of guitarist/vocalist Tim Boyd, the bass playing of Isa Hufton, the extraordinary talents of keyboardist Travis Hoard, and the drumming of human metronome John McFarland, KR-3 brings power and energy to each live performance which leaves audiences yearning for more.

KR-3 will also be performing a late night silent disco following Friday night's festivities.
