With the release of their 2017 Grateful Dead cover album "Plays Dead," The Acoustic Company emerged on the West Virginia music scene. Mixing captivating harmony vocals with fantastic instrumentation and a high energy approach to their live shows, The Acoustic Company mixes rock n' roll sensibilities with acoustic instruments to give audiences a unique experience. Their album, "Plays Dead" featured many guest appearances including the piano playing of Grammy Award Winner Kofi Burbridge of the Tedeschi Trucks Band. Others guests featured on the album included Adrian Niles and Travis Hoard.

Although their live shows borrow heavily from the Grateful Dead songbook, The Acoustic Company is not a one trick pony. They are currently working on their second album which will be a collection of gospel songs.
